Compare the Yukon Denali

to the Competition

See How the New GMC Yukon Denali Stacks Up Against its Competitors in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Large SUVs are perfect for families because they offer seating for eight and a slew of helpful tech features. The GMC Yukon Denali has all the passenger and cargo space that Wilkes-Barre drivers crave while also having luxurious materials and technology. Other large SUVs such as the Chevy Tahoe Premier and the Ford Expedition King Ranch are also roomy and well-equipped, but they can't match the Yukon Denali's overall quality. Jo-Dan Buick GMC has prepared the following comparison to show you why.

Cargo Space

You'll need a lot of room to stow your family's luggage, sports gear, or camping equipment, and the new GMC Yukon Denali has a cavernous cargo hold. People in Wilkes-Barre who often take their family on trips will appreciate that the Yukon Denali has 122.9 cubic feet of cargo space with all its rear seats folded down. If that's not enough room, the Yukon XL Denali offers up to 144.7 cubic feet of space. The new Chevy Tahoe Premier also has 122.9 cubic feet of cargo space with its back seats folded, but there is no Tahoe XL. The Ford Expedition King Ranch has a maximum of 104.6 cubic feet of cargo room. Even the Expedition Max only has 121.5 cubic feet of total cargo space.

Cabin Quality

The new GMC Yukon Denali has a plush interior with genuine leather upholstery and unique wood and aluminum trim. A head-up display also comes standard. Wilkes-Barre drivers will like the Yukon Denali's 14-speaker Bose audio system for crisp, clear music while they're on the road. The new Chevy Tahoe Premier also comes with leather seats, but its Bose surround-sound audio system only has 10 speakers. The new Ford Expedition King Ranch has leather upholstery and a 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, but it doesn't come with a head-up display.

Ride and Handling

Large SUVs can be cumbersome around turns, but the new GMC Yukon Denali handles with relative composure and stability despite its size. The steering is mostly responsive and light, and the ride remains smooth over most imperfections in the road. The new Chevy Tahoe Premier also has light, accurate steering, but the base suspension can yield a slightly bouncy ride over rough pavement. The new Ford Expedition King Ranch rides smoothly, but it can feel ungainly when taking turns at higher speeds, and body roll is fairly pronounced.
