Updated Performance of the 2022 Encore GX
The 2022 Buick Encore GX represents the third model year of the first-generation Encore GX series. It is different from the 2021 model from our new Buick inventory with updated exterior paint options and performance features. A 1.3-liter L3T three-cylinder engine replaces the 1.2-liter LIH three-cylinder engine on FWD Essence models, and you'll also get minor tweaks to the interior. The Encore GX draws its power from a 155-horsepower turbocharged engine. The entry model features front-wheel drive, and it comes outfitted with a CVT. AWD systems are still available with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission.
